Seth Lehman is in his third year as head coach at his alma mater. The 2001 Northern graduate guided the Polar Bears to a 41-7 record; two division championships; a pair District 3 title game appearances, and two PIAA playoff spots in his first years at the helm of the Polar Bears.

Prior to coming to Northern, Coach Lehman had a highly successful tenure as the head coach at Cumberland Valley where his teams averaged more than 23 wins per season and won two state championships. His overall record in nine seasons between the two schools is 203-25-5, a .882 winning percentage.

Lehman was a standout player when he donned the purple and white from 1997 to 2000. A four-year starter, he earned all Mid Penn Conference honors three times, including first-team accolades in his last two seasons.  He continued his playing career at Messiah College where he helped lead the Falcons to three conference championships and two national titles.

Upon graduation, Lehman accepted a job as a physical education teacher at Cumberland Valley, a position he continues to hold.  He was an assistant on the Eagles boys coaching staff for three years and on the girls staff for two.  In December, 2008, he was named just the second head coach in the girls' program's history.

Seth and his wife, Savannah, a former All-America player at Messiah, reside in Camp Hill. They are the parents of son, Carter, who turned one in June and son, Austin, born this past July.
